Drive of the Martin Bred dogs. Quick, Agile, Powerful. Shasta demonstrates great courage under pressure. Shasta has the intelligence of discernment; just because you are a stranger does NOT make you a threat!  I believe that this is possible because of A: her trust in me BUT most likely B: she has the self confidence that "if" something were to go wrong at the last minute she KNOWS that she can take care of it!

Shasta does not demonstrate aggression without cause or command. She is out-going, a treasured friend and a fierce family protector! Marcel Harnois; Director of Animal Control and long time American Bulldog Trainer describes her: "Great Drive, Athleticism, Endurance and the Intelligence to put all of that into the Total Package"!

SHASTA  is truly the foundation of every decision that I make. She has the temperament that I depend on for every dog that I produce. She is the one that despite her extreme standard form, kept her puppies in demand for up to a year in advance. Shasta produces a thick standard to moderate/heavy Hybrid pup with nice bone, densely muscled pup that maintains it's EXTREME Athletisim and the ability to breath!

Shasta is now retired and only comes out to play in the fun events but no more litters for her. Shasta's life has not changed much since she has ALWAYS been my best buddy 1st! Shasta has always been a VERY special dog, the best dog born to feet in my opinion! Shasta is 8 now and how that happened I'll never know but, I do know that I will NEVER be ready to turn her over to God. He has plenty, he could leave her here with me.
