Rusheea  is an amazing female. I didn't really expect much of her potential (10 of her littermates died within days). This was the Mothers 1st litter, she was in a box and left during whelping for the entire day and evening when he came home , saw her still trying to whelp and went to bed! So, I was to recieve 2nd pick female as part of the Stud Fee and I was so diappointed in what was left that I just picked one up and left.

Then slowly it began. After traveling 15 hours and 1st time without her mother, she showed NO fear, not when the big dogs barked, not when in a brand new environment (NO LIGHT) to potty, she quickly trotted off, by herself, to explore the darkness. Just no fear. I couldn't believe it with the way I imagined she had been raised.

It seemed that over the next few months (funny how I never got around to selling/advertizing her), she would look directly at me and perform something that demonstrated extraordinary intellegence, balance, GREAT drive and even descernment!

I had spent years trying to find a female that was enough of an outcross to bring in my yard BUT because of everything that Shasta is, nobody measured up. The pups were great but My expectations were fairly unreasonable and yet, here she was. She had just EARNED herself a home! I looked down and my heart was gone and my hopes were high!

I had to retire Shasta nearly 2 years ago, soon after Rusheea came. I was very nervous because I would settle for nothing less than everything that Shasta is and I had not been able to find it. I am estatic to announce my new primary Bitch, my good friend, my back rest when I sleep, Rusheea. Like Shasta, she is willing to face anything new and do whatever is asked of her even with NO formal training.

Rusheea has done well both times shown; 2006 1st in 1-2 year old Bitch and Best 2-3 yr Bitch on Saturday and BIS Standard Bitch on Sunday in June 2007. She earned her GDT.  We would have taken BIS show but she bumped heads with "Raiden" ( out of Shasta's last litter x Nor-cal's Malo Roja. A beautiful dog!). Ringo is an absolute SOLID POWERHOUSE! With mind blowing bone and massive muscle, there is nothing sloppy about this Bulldog! Ringo and Siskiyou produced a nice litter. Pick male took a 2nd (to his cousin) in the Nationals at Las Vegas '04. Ringo is a treasured family member and while very social, takes his role as gaurdian without pause! Ringo has some GREAT old lines such as  **Jaws of Stone Jake, Cold Hearted Snake, Mullin's Bubba, Dick the Brusier ll, Banuelo's Predator Sch.lll, IPO lll, OFA, Johnson's Red Machine, Rip-n-Woody, as well as Painter's Ironman, Prather's Maggie Mae, Leclerc's Bessy, with some Martin's Askum Nicely, Cinderella Story, Chesty Puller ll, Chain's and Oathout's Dick the Bulldog to give you some idea. Ringo is out of our 1st Stud Wild River's Bo of Stansbury, we miss him terribly, he passed last year. I look forward to breeding Wild River's Rusheea to him this fall. This will be the last "natural" litter that Ringo produces; he is 9 in March and my parents much beloved old/fat boy. His semien is collected and stored. Strict qualification will apply to all Bithes proposed for breeding; as with all of our Males.
